Day 1 – Arrive Delhi, overnight stay
Day 2 – Full day Sightseeing of Old and New Delhi, overnight stay
Day 3 – Morning Flight from Delhi to Bagdogra, transfer by vehicle to Darjeeling standing high in the Himalayas at an altitude of 2134m, ‘Dorje Ling’, or place of the Thunderbolt, offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountain peaks, surrounded by World Famous Tea gardens and snow capped mountains (approx. 93 Kms / 3 hours drive), overnight stay
Day 4 – Early morning tour to Tiger Hills to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga peak, on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop Visit Padmajan. Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Refugee self-help center and visit to the all local market (city life), overnight stay
Day 5 – Morning drive from Darjeeling to Pelling another serene, mountain village which lies in the western districts of Sikkim. This village is situated at an altitude of 2000 mts (approx) and commands a spectacular view of Mt. Kanchenjunga (approx. 75 Kms / 3-4 hours drive), rest of the day free for relaxation, overnight stay
Day 6 – Full day sightseeing of Pelling visiting Pemayangste Monastery, Rabtense Ruins, Khechipalri Lake, Kanchenjunga Water Falls & Rambi Water Falls, overnight stay
Day 7 – Morning drive from Pelling to Gangtok at an altitude of 1750m became the state capital in the mid 19th century and has undergone rapid development since then. The downtown area is dominated by huge government buildings decorated with traditional Buddhist symbols. Gangtok is also a resting ground for people traveling to North Sikkim. Surrounded by Monasteries and Orchids, Gangtok is truly a travellers delight (approx. 127 Kms / 5 hours drive), overnight stay
Day 8 – Full day Sightseeing visiting Rumtek Monastery, Do Drul Chorten, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Cottage Industry & “Flower Show Complex, overnight stay
Day 9 – Full day excursion to Phodong & Labrang Monastery, overnight stay
Day 10 – Morning drive from Gangtok to Kalimpong at an altitude of 1250m, Kalimpong’s location is ideal for a pleasant, relaxed getaway, afternoon sightseeing visiting Zang Dog Palri Fo Brang Monastery, Tharpa Choling Monastery, Thongsa Gumpa, Durpin Dara & “Flower Nurseries” (approx. 83 Kms, 3 hours drive), overnight stay
Day 11 – Morning drive from Kalimpong to Phuentsholing (IndoBhutan border) approx. 181 kms / 6-7 hours drive). On arrival at Bhutan Border, after all clearance of the immigration formalities drive to Phuentsholing, overnight stay
Day 12 – Morning drive from Phuentsholing to Thimphu, the Capital of Bhutan (approx. 185 Kms / 06 hours drive), on the way visit the famous Kharbandi Gonpa, from where we will have the scenic view of the plains of India, during drive pass numerous small town of Gedu, Chukha and Chunzom, overnight stay
Day 13 – Full day sightseeing of Thimphu visiting Memorable Chorten, The Textile Museum, Folk Heriage Museum, Takin Sanctuary, School of Arts and Crafts, National Library & Tashichho Dzong, overnight stay
Day 14 – Morning drive from Thimphu to Paro (approx. 55 Kms / 01 hour drive), afternoon visit the National Museum which houses impressive collection of fine arts, paintings, bronzes, textiles, jewellery and handicrafts & Rinpung Dzong, The Fortress of the Heap of Jewels, overnight stay
Day 15 – Morning 20 minutes drive to visit end of the valley to Drukgyel Dzong from where once can see the towering peak of Jomolhari, this mountain also revered as a powerful goddess, forms the border with Tibet and provides magnificent background to the ruined Drukgyel Dzong and village, later drive to Rumthangka and begin the Taktsang hike, Taktsang Monastery clinging on the steep rock, is one of the holiest temple in Bhutan, the trek to the temple through the pine tree and sweet aroma of the air is indeed a very special and memorable event, afternoon returning to hotel, stop for a visit to Kyichu Temple, overnight stay
Day 16 – Depart from Paro to Delhi for Hometown flight
