Day 1 – Arrive Delhi and overnight stay
Day 2 – Full day Sightseeing of Old and New Delhi, overnight stay
Day 3 – Morning flight from Delhi to Patna, on arrival in Patna, transfer by vehicle to Bodhgaya, one of the most important and sacred Buddhist pilgrimage center in the world (approx. 125 Kms / 4 – 5 hours drive) enroute visiting Rajgir & Nalanda to visit the Shanti Stupa, Gridhrakuta Hills, Nalanda University & Museum.Overnight in Bodhgaya
Day 4 – Full day Sightseeing of Bodhgaya visiting Mahabodhi Temple, Dungashwari Caves, Sujata House and Niranjana River, evening free & overnight stay
Day 5 – Morning drive from Bodhgaya to Varanasi (approx. 255 Kms / 4 – 5 hours drive) evening enjoy Aarti ceremony at Dasaswamedh Ghat
Day 6 – Morning boat cruise on the River Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims by the Ghats, later depart for an excursion to Sarnath where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment 2500 years ago. It is about 10 km from Varanasi and holds a number of Buddhist sites that include the famous Dhamekh Stupa, the seat of the holy ‘Buddha’. You can also visit the ruins of Dharmarajika Stupa and Mulagandha Kuti Temple, where Lord Buddha is said to have rested and meditated while in Sarnath. The Ashoka Pillar built by the emperor Ashoka is a must see in Sarnath.
Day 7 – Morning flight from Varanasi to Delhi, on arrival at Delhi airport, straight drive to Haridwar (approx. 204 Kms / 5 – 6 hours drive), evening enjoy ‘Aarti’ at Har-ki-Pauri on the ghat of the cool waters of the Ganga, overnight stay
Day 8 – Morning visit to Rishikesh, also known as ‘Abode of Sages’ (approx. 20 Kms / 30 minutes drive), afternoon sightseeing of Rishikesh, visiting Laxman Jhula, Bharat Mandir and other Hindu Temples, evening visit to Parmarth Niketan Yoga Ashram, largest Ashram in Rishikesh, and evening participate in the lively activities of ‘Aarti’.
Day 9 – Morning drive Rishikesh to Delhi (approx. 231 Kms / 5 – 6 hours drive)
Day 10 – Departure from Delhi for Hometown flight
